Who we are

The Bereko Community Partnership was established in 2016.  We represent the churches, schools and Town Council of Paddock Wood and have set up this Partnership to coordinate all we do to strengthen our formal friendship with Bereko in Tanzania. 

Our link started in 2005 with a link between the church families in Paddock Wood and Bereko and has grown over the years to include the primary schools, secondary schools and town councils in both Paddock Wood and Bereko .

In October 2012 we celebrated our link by signing a formal friendship agreement at a church service attended by the Deputy High Commissioner of Tanzania, Chabaka Kilamanga, and the Bishop of Kondoa, the Rt Rev Dr Given Gaula.
